Arnold's bad ideas go down to defeat

The Sacramento Bee reports that Prop 75 is trailing 53.0% to 47.0%, with 95% of precincts reporting, in California. This is the bill that would essentially have stripped public employees' unions of their power to influence state politics - an incredibly mean-spirited and unfair proposal. The teachers' unions, in particular, increased their dues in an extremely expensive campaign against the proposal.

All of Arnold's other bad ideas were defeated, too, as was Prop 73, which would have made it harder for pregnant teens to get abortions.
