THANK YOU!! I wondered if it was just me noticing that as soon as the media figured out that this week's school massacre took place on a Native American reservation, not in white suburbia, they lost interest in the story.
Which, might I add, is a parallel to the attnetion dedicated to Matthew Shepard vs. the silence enveloping all the queer kids of color, especially the transkids, who get killed on a regular basis.
