SRisk1979: which chronicles sailors phoning from chicago to say they were overstaying leave, coming back trashed out of their minds, phoning from chicago to say they missed the last train

SRisk1979: and then we watched the theatrical trailer which was a DVD special feature
SRisk1979: trailers were fucking long in 1949
SRisk1979: like five minutes or something
SRisk1979: and at the end of it it said:
SRisk1979: in bold letters across the screen
SRisk1979: THREE SINGING SAILORS!
SRisk1979: THREE DANCING DAMES!
SRisk1979: TWICE AS GAY AS "ANCHORS AWEIGH"!
SRisk1979: and we just about died laughing
